Athijeevanam Keraliyam Scheme: On Thursday, 27th August 2022, the State government of Kerala circulated a new programme that helps the 50,000 unemployed persons in Kerala state. Chief Minister Pinarayi Vijayan Garu has launched a new Programme namely Athijeevanam Keraliyam Scheme in the middle of the week to provide employment opportunities for fifty thousand persons throughout Kerala.
The newly launched Kerala scheme was Implemented by the Kudumbashree to give benefits for 50,000 Persons, the CM added. And, the Kerala CM said that the state govt is going to allot Rs.145 Crore budget to re-establish Kerala.
Athijeevanam Keraliyam Scheme 2020 Eligibility, Benefits Details
Athijeevanam Keraliyam Scheme’s main ambition is to give employment Opportunity for unemployed people who have lost their regular job and business during the Period of lockdown. Under this scheme, more than fifty thousand persons will be benefited from the new job role. There are five main components developed under this Programme. The list of 4 projects and its benefits are given below.
Yuva Kerala Project:
Under the Yuva Kerala Project, around 10,000 youth will be trained for skilled development and employment power. The state govt has sanctioned Rs.60 crore budget for this Project. The age group of 18 to 35 years of youth will be members of this Project.
The SC and ST Category person’s age limit is 45 years to Join on this project. Yuva Kerala Project’s main motto is to provide skills and Free training for the young youth of Kerala. Under this project, the beneficiaries will get Free training, Travel allowance, Food, Accommodation, Free uniform, casual dress, Placement support, and Counselling from Most experienced persons. Free training and Placement support will be given for the period of one year.
Interface with Work (C2W):
Under this new “Interface with Work” Programme, around 5000 men and women beneficiaries will get Free soft skills training and employment connections for the rural areas people. This project has been specially designed for rural area men and women youth. The state government has released an Rs.5 crore budget to Implement this project and connect the men and women beneficiaries with employers to secure the job. This project’s main intention is to guide the men and women rural area beneficiaries in finding employment and connect them to the current job market.
Entrepreneurship Development Program of Kerala (EDP-K):
Under this programme, the state govt is going to start more ventures in each block of the respective areas in Kerala. The main intention of this scheme is to launch sixteen thousand eight hundred agriculture and non-agriculture ventures in fourteen affected places of the state.
This scheme is going to help around twenty thousand male and female beneficiaries who are interested to join this project. Almost, the Kerala government has released Rs. 70 crore budget for this project. Under this scheme, the individual persons will get up to 1 lakh loan amount and the group ventures will receive up to 5 lakhs loan amount at the rate of interest of 4%.
Acquiring Resilience & Identity through Sustainable Employment (ARISE):
The ARISE Scheme has launched by the Kerala government in the financial year 2019-2020. Under this scheme, around ten thousand men and women beneficiaries will be offered by employment opportunities. The state government has launched this scheme to provide employment for the people who have lost their livelihood due to the flood effect. The main objective of this ARISE scheme is to offer Free skills development training for the youth and Kudumbasree workers. The government has sanctioned 10 crore budget to implement the project.
Kudumbasree Micro-Enterprise Development Programme (KMEDP):
The Development Programme of the Micro-Enterprise Kudumbasree scheme has especially started for entrepreneurs. Under this scheme, the Individuals and Group ventures will receive loan amount up to 2.5 lakhs and 10 lakhs as per their profiles. This scheme has started to develop the skills of the youth. The entrepreneurship training and skilled development training will be offered by the state govt free of cost. Around three thousand Individual enterprises and two thousand group enterprises will be benefited by this scheme.
