CBSE Single Girl Child Scholarship 2020-21 Fresh/ Renewal Apply Online

CBSE Single Girl Child Scholarship Fresh / Renewal 2020-2021 Online Application Process has started in November 2020. The Online Registration for Single Child girl Fresh and renewal will close on 10th December 2020.

After 10th December, Students will not allow registering the Renewal and Fresh application Forms. So, Students who have applied for this scheme in the academic year 2019-2020 and who need to create a new application should go through the CBSE portal i.e. www.cbse.nic.in or below listed link, and apply Online. 

CBSE Single Girl Child Scholarship 2020-21 Fresh/ Renewal Apply Online

Every year, the CBSE board will provide the Single Girl Child Scholarship rewards for the Class X Merit Students. The main aim behind this CBSE Single Girl Merit scholarship scheme is to provide financial support for the Single Girl Child Students who have secured 60% and more score in Class X. This scheme will be applicable for the Parents who have one girl Child. 

Eligibility Criteria:

This scholarship scheme shall be offered by the Central Board of Secondary Education based on the Merit list in the 10th Class examinations. Students can check the Complete Eligibility Conditions from the below paras.

1. To avail of the Single Girl Child Scholarship scheme, the parents should have a Single Gild Child.

2. Students who are studying Class 11th and 12th also will consider for this scheme. Students of Class XI & XII tuition fees should not cross Rs.1500 per month.

3. The NRI Students also will allow applying for this scheme. The NRI Students Class XI & XIII tuition fee should not cross Rs.6000 per month.

4. Two Girl Child Students are also allowed to apply for this scheme. But, one Girl child will get a Scheme benefit from the Single-family.

Duration of Scholarship Scheme:

Single Child Merit Girl Scholarship is the Central government scheme which is valid for one year. After completion of one year, students must do the renewal their scholarship as per the regular academic schedule.

To renewal the Scheme, Students should score a minimum of 50% in the Previous academics and also must submit the previous academic marks Sheet. Students of Class 11 & 12th should maintain 75% of academic attendance to get the scheme benefits for the next academic year. If you are not renewal the scheme automatically scholarship will be cancelled by the CBSE board. 

Scholarship Amount Per month:

The Meritorious students will obtain Five Hundred rupees per month under this scheme. CBSE Board will every month credit the Scholarship reward to the student’s Bank account directly through the NEFT/ ECS.

Mode of Selection:

The Mode of selection for this scheme will be done based on the Merit score in the CBSE 10th Class examination. Candidates who are pursuing Class 11th & 12th should Score more than sixty percent marks in Class x.

Steps by Step Process to apply for this Scholarship Scheme:

1st Step: To Apply for a Fresh or Renewal Single Child Merit scholarship, students should visit the CBSE official website i.e. www.cbse.nic.in or Go Here.

2nd Step: If you are the Fresh Scholar should select the First Option. If you want to renew the Scholarship should go for the second option.

3rd Step: After hitting the Apply Online Option, you need to select the SGC-X Fresh or SGC-X Renewal Application which is placed on the left side of the page.

4th Step: Then, Enter the Roll Number, Date of birth, and click on Proceed Button.

5th Step: A New Single Gild Child scheme Application form will be shown on the screen. Students should provide the personal, Academic details and upload the required documents.

6th Step: Before submitting the Single Girl Merit scholarship fresh or Renewal application form, students should re-check the details and submit it Online.

2. Click on the Award and Status Search button.

3. Select the academic year and Check the Award Status list shown on the Awards of Various Scholarship schemes page.
