Gauhati University B.Ed Results 2020-21 Merit list of GUBEDCET Details

Recently, the Gauhati University has released the Official Notification for admissions into Bachelor Of Education (B.Ed) Courses for the academic year 2020-21 and seeked filled applications from the BA/ BCom/ BSc or MA/ MCom/ MSc or Equivalent Degree Qualified Students Online.

The B.ed Programme registration Process has done from 15th October to 25th October 2020 and the B.ed Admit Cards were downloaded by the applicants from 6th November to 10th November 2020.

GUBEDCET Merit List:

The University of Gauhati will be prepared the Merit list based on the obtained marks in the OMR based test of GUBEDCET. The First Priority for admissions in B.ed Courses will be given to the SC/ ST/ OBC and other reserved category candidates. If two or more applicants will get the same marks, such applicants will be selected as per the NCTE norms.

According to the GU Norms, the Reservation and relaxation Scheme will be applicable. Without Declaring the GU B.ed Merit list, candidates will not fulfill the Seats in the Gauhati University teaching affiliated Colleges across the Assam State.

Syllabus:

GUBEDCET is the OMR based offline test scheduled by the University of Gauhati. The B.ed CET is the objective type (MCQ) test that contains 100 Questions. Each Question carries four marks. There is a negative scheme applicable to the wrong answer. The GU Officials will deduct one mark for every wrong answer and also added 4 marks for every correct Answer.

The Process to download the Gauhati University B.Ed Results 2020-21:

To obtain the Category wise Cutoff marks as well as the Merit List of the Gauhati University B.Ed test, Contenders should follow the steps listed below and Know the status of Seat allotment in GU Afflicted colleges.

1st Step: First, Aspirants should go through the GU portal i.e. www.gauhati.ac.in.

2nd Step: Check the results option shown on the GU Home Page and tap on the Results link which is placed on the Header.

Click on Results link

3rd Step: Check all Courses exam Results displayed on the GU Results Page and click on the GUBEDCET Results & Merit list 2020.
