The organization has a startling performance every quarter and the business rose from Rs.4,78,365 to Rs.4,90,408 crore. In the current fiscal, the bank has set a target for deposits and the advances as Rs.2,56,000 crore and Rs.1,60,000 crore.

The bank in the previous quarter in September rose by 154 percent and that comes close to INR 376 crore. In the fourth quarter, it plans to rise somewhere between INR 500 crore and INR 1000 crore so as to meet the tier-II capital norms. Indian Overseas Bank (IOB) Internet Banking:

The Net banking services are provided to all IOB customers and it is for those who want to shift from the physical banking system to the digital banking system. The customer must possess the correct login credentials and it is sufficient to receive bank balance, pay credit bills in a hassle-free manner.

Netbanking Registration Process:

The customer can enter the net banking provided they first engage in creating registration and login credentials. The bank collects the customer’s personal details as well as bank credentials. After verification of the customer’s details with their master data, the banker shall provide permission to access the Internet Banking Service.

1. The Customer must enter the IOB web portal i.e. https://www.iobnet.co.in/ibanking/login.do in the address bar and click on the search button. The web portal shall lead the applicant to a new web page called a home page.

2. On the home page, depending upon the nature of the individual, one must click the Register individual or corporate registration option.

3. The applicant, be it individual or for corporate, must fill in the details in the registration form and must submit the bank branch of the applicant’s account.

4. The applicant must be having the same registered mobile number and email that was submitted at the bank’s branch. 

5. The bank officials shall verify the physical documentation and activate the net banking. The banker shall issue the IOB Netbanking password.

IOB Net Banking Login:

1. The applicant must visit the IOB website page so as to access the Net Banking Account. The applicant must enter the username, and password/ PIN that is issued by the banker after registration.

2. The home page will display options and the applicant must select the tab. This display on the tab is represented only for Individual users. It is Accounts, Remittances, Edit profile, BBPS, Tax payments, IOB cards, Utility payments, & IPO.

3. The net banking customer will have two login credentials to access namely password, and PIN. Both have specific functions in operation, the password is used to log in to the net banking page while a PIN is used to make the fund transfer to another bank account.

Note: If the customer fails to enter the right password or PIN the banker shall block the account and to unblock it the customer must approach the customer service executive.

Reset IOB Net Banking Password:

The customer making use of the Net banking facility is entitled to make a change in password. The banker instills this provision to keep the customer’s accounts safe. Moreover, a customer can also change a forgotten password as such.

1. The Customer must open the IOB netbanking Account web page i.e. www.iobnet.co.in/ibanking/html/index1.html and the User must hover the option ‘assistance’ and select the ‘reset button’ accordingly.

2. Check for individual/ corporate users.

  • The net banking user (Individual) must enter the essential details such as login ID, IOB bank account number, registered email ID, and the captcha code.
  • When It is a net banking user (Corporate), enter the Login ID, password to proceed. The web portal shall send the One time password to the registered Phone number. The OTP is inserted to verify the details.

3. On a fresh web page, the user must enter a new password and again re-enter the same password to confirm. The user must click on the submit button. This completes the reset process of the password and the user is free to enter the net banking account.

Fund Transfer Using an IOB Net Banking Account:

1. Internet banking customers can try on fund transfers through the net and it is proven to be safe and fast to either receive or transfer funds.

2. The user must enter the IOB net banking account page: iobnet.co.in/ibanking/html/index1.html and enter the fund transfer web page by entering the login credentials. They are user ID and Password.

3. The user must enter beneficiary details in the beneficiary list. The user can instantly transfer the funds to the account.

Note: For new accounts, it takes time to transfer funds as it goes through the bank verification of the account, and then it makes funds transfer.

5. The steps to transfer funds are quite simple. On the menu click the option remittances, funds transfer, other banks – NEFT and then make a selection of the “proceed” button.

6. The net banking user must enter the banking details of the recipient. Then, the amount for transfer must be entered, and click the “proceed” button and also enter the PIN & click the ‘transfer funds’ to proceed. option.

7. The IOB’s web portal shall deliver an OTP to the registered mobile number and the user must validate the details accordingly. The fund gets transferred and will get a confirmation message and thereafter to confirm the transferred funds, its status shall be on screen.
