Maharashtra Covid Vaccine Registration: The Government of Maharashtra has opened a vaccine registration online portal for Citizens above 18 years. The citizens of Maharashtra can enroll for registration at www.Cowin.gov.in.
They are directed to register as per the instructions made available on the page. In this corona crisis, there may be citizens who have taken Corona’s first vaccine and some might not have taken it once. Hence, the Government instructs every citizen not to neglect and seek the vaccine immediately.

On May 18th, 2021, The Times of India reports that the state recorded the second-highest daily death, and figures to 974 on Sunday taking the overall Covid toll to 81,486. The State is in acute shortage of vaccines and it has received 50,000 doses of Covid 19 vaccines.
Currently, the State has a reserve of about six lakhs vaccine doses. And these 6 lakhs vaccines will be barely sufficient for the next three days. On Sunday, Maharashtra Chief Minister Uddav Thackeray interacted with State family physicians and members of the State Task Force and concluded. In which he appealed to the doctors to become ‘Mazha Doctor’ in the fight against Second wave Coronavirus.
However, it becomes essential that the Citizens above 18 years should enroll for vaccination on State Government’s appeal.
Vaccination Process Dates:
In fact, for Vaccination, the registration process did start on April 28, 2021, and the actual vaccination of patients began on 1st May 2021 at 04:00 pm. The Vaccines that were made available for citizens of Maharashtra are listed out.
The vaccines are Pfizer Vaccine registration, AstraZeneca Vaccine, modern Vaccine, DRDO Anti Covid Drug, and Covidshield Vaccine. Now the Indian & Maharashtra govt urges citizens who are above 18 years to be vaccinated from 01.05.2021.
Arogya Setu App -Educates User on Corona:
The process of registration is simple and can be easily conducted on www.selfregistration.cowin.gov.in. As the mode of registration is online and the age limit is above 18 years and above. Citizens can also make use of apps like the Arogya Setu app, this app will educate the user on Corona and issue instructions on avoidance of Corona. citizens can make an easy download of the apps over the play store.
Maha Covid Vaccine Registration Process on Aarogya Setu App, or Arogya Setu App:
1st Step: Maharashtra Citizens who want to book the slot for the Corona Vaccination must install the Aarogya Setu App from the Google Play Store and open the app.
2nd Step: Next, applicants should go through the Vaccination section and verify the mobile number by entering the sent OTP to the mobile number.
3rd Step: As a part of the ID proof verification, an applicant will have to enter Aadhaar number or Voter ID card number.
4th Step: Next, the applicants should enter the nearest pin-code and make a selection of the health care center.
5th Step: After the selection of the health care center, an applicant will get to see the available time slot depending on the availability of the vaccine.
6th Step: An applicant will have to select the date and a Convenient time.
7th Step: Now, Applicants should make a registration on the app for up to 4 citizens.
8th Step: The apps make a registration for citizens only after the selection of the time slot.
9th Step: Once registration is complete, the register number and the vaccination date will be sent to the registered mobile phone.
When a citizen approaches a vaccination center, two things are essential to produce. One is the obtained registration number, and the second is ID proof such as voters’ card, or Aadhar Card.

Third Wave of Corona:
The official reports say that Kerala is in the clutches of the third wave. And, it is said to be more powerful than the first and second wave. The health care department says the symptoms of corona will surface in 2 to 14 days after a citizen becomes a victim of the disease.
The symptoms are similar to the first and second wave, a patient will succumb to fever, cough, shortness of breath, breathing difficulties. Hence the Maharashtra Government is appealing to the Citizens to take a Vaccine before the State comes under the fold of the Third Wave.
Following are the precautions to be maintained. The Health Department has given instructions for the prevention of the third wave.
- Wash hands thoroughly with soap.
- Make use of sanitizer, and wear a mask.
- Do not touch your face frequently.
- If a citizen is weak, better not to travel.
- Do not smoke and do not perform any activity that may make your lungs go weak.
- Do not move out of the house unless it is essential.
