NTSE Results for stage 1  & stage 2 will be published by the NCERT board online. Every year, the National Council of Education research technology (NCERT) Board conducts the NTSE stage 1 and stage 2 examinations for the 10th standard students to offer scholarships for their higher education. The NCERT board releases the schedule for the NTSE Scholarship scheme state-wise and conducts the competition test district-wise.

Already, the Kerala, West Bengal, Karnataka, and Bihar states have organized the NTSE stage 1 exam on January 24th, 2021, and the official board of NCERT has declared stage 1 Results on March 09th, 2021.

NTSE Stage 1 scholarship test has finished in the Respective states such as Kerala, Karnataka, and Bihar. Candidates who have shortlisted in the stage 1 merit list will be promoted to the next level competitive test that is Stage 2.

National Council of education board has started the stage 1 NTSE state-wise written examination from December month and completed the Scholarship tests across India till February month 2021.

Almost all state SCERT boards have organized the NTSE stage 1 exam for the academic session 2020-2021.  All candidates who have participated in the NTSE Scholarship stage 1 exam can able to view the results and merit list through the official website.

Eligibility Details:

  • Applicants who are pursuing tenth-level standards will eligible for the NTSE stage 1 & Stage 2 Scholarship exams.
  • Students who are studying Regular & distance learning academic courses in the respective recognized govt or private schools will allow applying for this scheme.
  • Students’ age should not cross 18 years as of July 01st, 2020. 
  • State and central government employee children pursuing the 10th standard are not eligible.
  • All categories such as General, OBC, ST/SC, Physically handicapped persons will allow applying for the NTSE Scholarship Programme.
  • Students should be Citizens of India. Students of NRI are not allowed to apply for this programme.
  • Candidates who are already taking the State or central government scholarships are not eligible for this scheme.

Benefits of the Scholarship:

1. The shortlisted candidates will get Rs.1250 per month for classes 11th and 12th.

2. Through this NTSE Scholarship, all eligible students will get Rs.2000 per month for Under graduation and post-graduation.

Objective:

National talent search scholarship (NTSE) is a national scholarship programme launched by the NCERT board. The main aim of the NCERT NTSE scholarship is to provide financial assistance up to Rs.2000 per month for their higher classes from class 11th to graduate level.

Reservation:

NCERT officials will give preference for the NTSE scholarships based on the reservation act. The national-level stage 2 scholarship all categories reservation details are listed below.

Selection Process:

Students of Class X from all UTs & states will be selected through the stage 1 and stage 2 exams. Stage 1 selected candidates are going to recommend for the stage 2 level scholarship test held by the NCERT board.

Qualifying marks:

Candidates belonging to General/ OBC/ EWS minimum Qualifying marks are 40% and for scheduled categories such as SC/ ST/ PWD Qualifying marks are 32%.
