2. The Saral student portal is meant to capture the student information, the Saral teacher portal is to provide information to teaching and non-teaching staff. Saral school portal is the online system to gather information.

Saral 2.0 Maharashtra Student Portal Login:
1st Step: In order to sign in to the Saral Maha Student Portal, the students should visit the official website i.e. www.education.maharashtra.gov.in/saral2/.
2nd Step: The student must click the student portal link placed below the tab in the quick link section on the School’s education and sports department home page.
3rd step: The web portal will open https://student.maharashtra.gov.in/stud_db/users/login. The web portal shall lead to the external link of the student portal. The SESD Student Portal page is shown below.
4th Step: On the right side of the portal, one can find the login panel and must fill in the details to seek login.
SESD School Portal Login:
1. Visit the SESD Portal https://education.maharashtra.gov.in/saral2/index.php.
2. Tap on the School Portal Option and view it on another page.
3. After getting the School Portal login page, Users should enter user id, Password, captcha code, and log in to the page.
Change Password:
The student must log in with the user name and for the first time the password will be the default password (Guest123!@#).
1. Enter the captcha image and then click the login button.
2. The page will lead to a ‘changing of password’ dialog box. The student must enter the user Id, default password, new password, and retype the new password.
3. Click the ‘change password’ button and then one will find the message ‘password updated successfully’ and then click to close the dialog box.
Important:
To create the new password the student must follow the instructions. The total length of the password is above 8 characters and does not exceed 15 characters. The password must contain at least one number, a lower case character, an uppercase character, and a special character.
The student must get to the login panel, enter the details username, new password, and captcha (image) and click the login button.
Reset Password:
1. To reset the password, a student should fill up the login details and click the reset password, and it will lead to the ‘reset your password here’ dialog box.
2. A student must enter the user Id, mobile number, date of birth, and insert a new password, re-type the new password, and click the reset button.
3. Once the details are properly inserted then the Saral server shall send a message to the registered mobile. It states ‘password changed successfully. A new password will deliver to the user’s number.’
Promotions for School Students of Maharashtra Year 2021-22:
The existence of the Saral portal for Maharashtra’s schools’ students easens the work of the education department. And, one practical example is the students’ promotions issues. The covid-19 has affected the offline education of elementary, primary, and high school students. For that, the government of Maharashtra has decided to promote the students of the academic year 2021-22.
1. The education department of Maharashtra has provided guidelines that should be put into implementation while promoting the students.
2. During the promotion activity, the school portal shall be verified to seek the student’s attendance in online classes.
3. A student may have applied for transfer from one school to another then the transfer request must be approved from the previous academic year.
4. The last class students of the school will be promoted in the drop-box.
5. School drop-outs or those who left the school for various reasons should be out those school records.
