The Telangana Chief Minister KCR Garu has launched New Food Security Card (FSC) Scheme in 2014 to provide Ration Products Under this scheme to all the Telangana state poor and below poverty People.
After being divided into Andhra Pradesh and TS states, the Telangana state government as well as the Andhra Pradesh state government has launched more schemes for Students, Farmers, and Poor People.
In TS state more than 15 schemes were introduced by KCR Garu in the year 2014. In the same way, AP CM Jagan Mohan Reddy Garu also introduced 15 and above Schemes in Andhra Pradesh State.
Telangana state formers and Poor People were much benefited by the TS Rythu Bandhu Scheme and it is one of the most popular schemes in India. And the AP state people were benefited from YSR Amma Vadi and YSR Rythu Barosa Schemes.
Due to the First wave Coronavirus pandemic, the CM KCR Garu has imposed a lockdown from March 22th to April 14th, 2020. And he said in the press meet, people who have white and pink ration cards will get 12 kg rice and other food Security products free of cost for three months. And CM KCR Garu clearly announced that no one must come outside for 21 days and maintain Social Distancing to fight against COVID-19.
Latest News: The ration dealers are going to distribute the rice, Wheate, sugar and etc based on E-Coupon System. Every day they will provide the coupons to the first 10 people and distribute the food gains free of cost. People can maintain social distancing and get ration.

Benefits of this scheme:
1. The white ration Cardholders will get 12 Kg Rice for each person, 2 Kg Suger, Rs.1500 Cash, 1kg Wheate, 2 liters Oil, 1 kg of Dal for these three months free of cost.
2. The Pink Ration cardholders will not get any benefits from the State and Central government.
3. The white ration cardholders will be eligible to apply for state and Central govt Schemes such as Arogyasree, Fee reimbursement, PM Kisan Yojana, PM Kisan Garib Kalyan Yojana, CM Relief Fund, etc.
4. Only the white ration card beneficiaries will allow taking free IAS and IPS Coaching in reputed institutes in India.
5. Telangana state beneficiaries can use this ration card as identity proof.
Eligibility:
1. The Beneficiaries must be a citizen of Telangana State.
2. The applicant’s family income must not be crossed Rs.1.5 lakh per annum.
3. Beneficiaries must have Aadhar Card to enroll their names online.
4. The applicants who want to apply for New Food Security Card (FSC) must have SC/ ST/ OBC / EBC Certificate.

The Process to apply for a new Telangana ration Card:
1st Step: Beneficiaries who want to apply for a New ration card must visit the nearest Mee Seva Kendram and ask for a new ration card application form.
2nd Step: Fill out the application form with your personal and family details such as the Name of the main person, Father/ mother/ wife name, Children’s names, and Genders.
3rd Step: After filling out the application form, applicants can attach address Proof, Income Certificate, Aadhar card, Family Photo, bank Passbook Frontpage.
4th Step: After attaching the files, you have a sign at the bottom of the application form and submit the complete registration form to the Mee Seva Kendram.
5th Step: The Food Security department will verify your details and send the new ration card to the mentioned address within 30 to 45 days.
How to Track TS Ration Card Status (FSC Search) 2021?
1st Step: To know the TS Ration Card Status 2020, beneficiaries must visit the EPDS Authorised website direct link i.e. https://epds.telangana.gov.in/FoodSecurityAct/.
2nd Step: Next, you have to Click on the FSC Search option and open it on the fresh window. The cleared photo is mentioned below.
3rd Step: Tap on the Ration Cards Search option. Then, Select the FSC Search link.
5th Step: In this stage, the beneficiaries need to select either the FSC Ref number or ration card number and Select district. And finally, click on the Search button.
6th Step: Applicants can check the TS Ration card Status either approved or not.

Only the head of the female ration cardholder will get Rs.1500 amount. If the main female person dont have bank account you can collect cash from the postal department.
