Migrant Workers RegistrationScheme is a state-level yojana and this registration will help to the migrant workers who plan to come back to the home place. The Central Chief Labour Commission (CLC) has introduced the Inter-state Migrant workmen under the act of 1979 to provide employment and other miscellaneous in Inter-state.

Every year, more than 5.5 crore Migrants will travel from one state to another state as well as other Countries in India for their work profession. Due to the Coronavirus Pandemic, the Migrant workers & daily labours have been struck in other states and foreign countries. Now, the Migrant workers intend to return Immediately to their destination place.

So, the Central Chief Labour Commission has launched the new scheme namely Migrant Workers return Registration. This scheme’s main motto is to count the number of daily labours and migrant workers got struck in other States as well as to provide the fourteen days of Quarantine facilities & arrangments after they reached their home place.

The Indian Embassy Mission has already released the Online Registration via Twitter for Migrant Workers who have stranded in Dubai & UAE. More than 32,0000 Indian Citizens (who are in Dubai) registered their names within 2 days through the CGI Dubai web portal.

The Indian mission circulated the notice state-wise to start the Migrant Workers return Registration Process Online. The Few States such as Uttar Pradesh, Bihar, Kerala, Delhi, Punjab, Odisha, Uttarakhand and etc have activated the Migrant Workers return Registration Form on their respective own web portals. And also invited the applications from the Mirant workers and labours who plan to return to their native place.

The MHA Stated that the lockdown will be continued for more two weeks in India. Only red and orange zones will get a partial exception from lockdown. The Central govt has arranged special trains for migrants to return to their home.

The Migrant Workers return registration is mandatory for those who want to come back to their state. So, Citizen must register your names online before travel to your native place.

Important Instructions:

  • The Migrant Citizens who plan to return to your state must carry the Covid19 negative Certificate issued by the Covid19 hospitals.
  • This Migrant registration is Compulsory to come back to your home.
  • Migrants must maintain social distancing while travelling by road or train and also use a face mask.

The Process to apply for Migrants Registration Online?

1st Step: First, the Migrants must visit the Official website.

2nd Step: Find out the link of Migrant Labours registration or Migrants Covid19 registration Form and open the link on the fresh page.

3rd Step: A new Migtrans labour registration form will appear on the screen.

4th step: Then, applicants will have to provide the mandatory Personal details as well as family members details.

5th Step: And, Attach the required documents given on the Migrans application form. And hit on the Submit button.

6th Step: After that, a new reference ID will show on the Screen. Migrants can save the reference ID and track the status of the application online.
