UP Jansunwai Portal: The State government of Uttar Pradesh has launched a new portal for migrants. Migrants from Uttar Pradesh who wants to return to UP and those from other states who have trapped in UP should apply for migrant registration through this newly initiated portal ie. www.jansunwai.up.nic.in. The Jansunwai Portal has specially designed for migrants only.
The UP CM Stated that the NIC department has created a Public portal for Migrants who got struck at various places. So, those people who have stranded outside of up and inside of UP can register your names by using this link. However, the UP Jansunwai Online registration will not be considered to travel from UP to other states and other States to UP, he said.

The Jansunwai Portal was developed by the UP IT department for the Migrant People. It has not only designed the portal but also initiated the Andriod mobile application.
Here we have given a simple step-by-step Process of UP Migrant registration through Jansunwai Portal as well as Mobile application. So, migrants can use either an online portal or a Mobile app and enroll names.

Frequently Asked Questions on UP Migrant registration:
Q 1: What is the Migrant registration direct link. And when will active the link?
Answer: The Migrants online registration link is www.jansunwai.up.nic.in. You can able to enroll your names online here. The link has activated by the NIC Board on 4th May 2020.
Q 2: How to register online through this new portal?
Answer: The Complete registration guide has provided below. Please follow the below-listed steps and apply them online.
Q 3: I got stuck at Telangana in March 2020. How can I retune to UP?
Answer: The Telangana state govt has arranged 40 Special trains to return to their native places. So, returnees must register their names before traveling to UP and get NOC from the Telangana state police.
Q 4: Is UP Jansunwai migrant registration is compulsory?
Answer: Yes. This registration is mandatory. The returnees must register through this portal.
Q 5: What is the main intention of migrants registration?
Answer: The main objective of this registration is to track the number of Migrants who got trapped in other states and Countries and also provide the 14 days of Quarantine at state boards.
Q 6: What are the Charges for traveling from other States to Uttar Pradesh?
Answer: The central government stated that there are no charges that will be collected from the Passengers and they will distribute free food and water bottles.
Registration Process: From Uttar Pradesh to other states:
1. Migrants who plan to go from UP to other states must reach the Jansunwai Portal i.e. www.jansunwai.up.nic.in or http://jansunwai.up.nic.in/covid19_migrant_application
2. Then, you will get 2 options on the screen. You will have to click on प्रवासी पंजीकरण: उत्तर प्रदेश से अन्य राज्य जाने हेतु link and open them on the fresh page.
3. Enter mandatory details such as Mobile Number, Email ID, Captcha Code, and OTP. After that, you have to hit on the Submit button.
4. Then, you will obtain UP to other states’ return Online form. Enter genuine credentials on the mentioned form and hit on Submit Button.
Registration Process: From Other States to UP:
1. To return from other states to UP, migrants must visit the same portal which is www.jansunwai.up.nic.in or http://jansunwai.up.nic.in/covid19_migrant_application_other
2. Then, select the second link and view it on the fresh browser.
3. Provide the same credentials such as Mobile number, Email I’d, Captcha code, and hit on Go option.
4. Enter the dynamic one-time password (OTP) which is delivered to your mobile number and click on the submit button.
5. The Other States to UP return form will appear on the screen. Provide the proper personal and family credentials and hit on the submit button.
6. Finally, you will get the reference ID to your mobile number.
The Process to Install UP Jansunwai Mobile App:
1. To Install jansunwai Mobile application, applicants must visit the Google Play Store link and Install the app on their device by hitting the Install Button.
2. Then, Open the app on the new tab and start to Provide the details like Name, Father Name, Email ID, and Mobile number to Sign up for this mobile application.
4. After that, migrant People must go through the UP Migrant registration links and enroll their names through this mobile app.

After verifying your application form by the Officials, the confirmation message will be delivered to your registered mobile number either your application gets approved or not. There is no option to track the UP Migrant registration Status online. If the UP govt will update the link to check the status of this form, we will inform you.
