NID DAT Exam Pattern:
NID DAT Prelims exam has 2 parts Such as Subjective and Objective. Subjective Paper has 70 marks and the Objective has 30 marks. The total marks for this exam are 100.

Important Notes for the students to remember:
While applying for revaluation Students must have to submit a copy of the Hall ticket Signed by the Concerned invigilator during the exam otherwise the higher authorities of NID will reject the application for revaluation hence the request will not be processed by them.
The Recruitment Board of NID has the right to prohibit the disclosure of answer scripts if required documents are not produced. The admission cell of NID treats this confidentially.
In case of a tie-break in the NID DAT Prelims exam Final results, the board will follow the below-given procedure:
1. Students who will get a higher rank or top marks in prelims test, the Board will consider as a part B marks.
2. In case the Students ranks are also the same in Part B Section, this time the board will revoke the part A marks.
3. In case both the ranks of Part A and Part B are to be Same then both the Students will allott as the Same rank by NID Board.
4. Candidates must keep in mind that the prelims examination holds the 30% weight-age in their final marks.
4. Based on the merit list of the DAT NID Written Prelims Exam, the qualified applicants will move forward for the National Institute of Design Aptitude Test (NID DAT) mains exam. Purely based on the availability of seat candidates are shortlisted.
