The online registration process for the database of Indians who intend to return to the home place has begun on 29th April 2020, the Indian Mission Said. So, people who got stuck in Dubai and UAE can enroll their names through the official website i.e. www.cgidubai.gov.in or www.indianembassyuae.gov.in.

Due to the coronavirus pandemic, the Indian govt has temporarily stopped national and international Flights. So, the Indian mission has opened a new online registration portal to enroll the names to come back to India. So the returnees who have stranded outside of India due to the covid19 pandemic, should apply for this scheme and register their names online.

The Indian mission Stated that more than thirty-two thousand Indian Citizens in the UAE want to fly native place during the Coronavirus Pandemic. After launching the e-registration process 50,000 Indian Citizens have enrolled their names, it said.
The Kerala government has already launched the Norka Roots registration for the Keralites who wish to return to India. More than 1 lakh Citizens who have stranded Foreign Countries such as Dubai, USA, UK, London, Australia, etc have registered their names through the Norka portal, Said Consul General. And the same returnees have again registered their names to get arrangements from the central government, they said.
Objective:
The main objective of this registration is to help the citizens who got stuck in Dubai due to the pandemic situation of Covid19 and who wish to come back to India.

However, a few minutes after the mission has deleted the tweet due to technical issues. But most of the Twitter users already followed the tweet and started to register their names which have trouble in other countries.
Who will fly First?
- The Consul General said that there is no guarantee a Seat on the initial flights who have registered online.
- The First preference would be given to the Senior Citizens, Pregnant Women, Medical cases.
- The Indian government said that five hundred Air Indian Flights and three Indian Navy warships are ready to bring back Indian Citizens from abroad.
- And the Vipul Said that Air Indian is now ready but no idea about the warships.
