MOMA Scholarships 2022 Minority Scholarships Apply Online Form
MOMA Scholarships Online Application Process has started in July 2020. The Minority scholarships Online applications will be available on the Central govt scholarship portals such as https://scholarships.gov.in/ and http://www.momascholarship.gov.in/. Students who intend to apply for this Scholarship Programme can enroll their names through these web portals.
The Ministry of Minority Affairs (MOMA) has launched a new scholarship programme namely the MOMA Scholarship. There are 3 types of different scholarships available on this scheme. The complete details regarding the three types of different scholarships are listed below.
Under the Ministry of Minority Affairs Scholarship scheme 2020-2021, the Contenders who are belonging to the different categories like Muslim, Christian, Jain, Zoroastrian (Parsi), Sikh, and Buddhist can avail of three different Scholarships of MOMA for Professional & Technical Courses.
MOMA Scholarships 2022 Minority scholarships Details
The National minority scholarship scheme was approved by the Indian government to disburse the five lakh Scholarships under the post-matric scholarship scheme, thirty lakh scholarships under the pre-matric scholarship Programme, and sixty thousand scholarships under the Merit-cum-Means Scholarship scheme.
The main objective of this scholarship programme is to provide motivate the Minority Community and other Category students to do the Professional or Technical Courses at the Postgraduate and graduate levels. Under this scholarship scheme, the eligible and winner students will credit the amount of twenty thousand rupees per annum.

- Minorities Post-Matric Scholarship
- Professional & Technical Courses CS of Merit-cum-Means Scholarship scheme
1. Minorities Pre-Matric Scholarship:
The students of class 1st to 10th standard who are belonging to the Minority Community will be awarded up to Rs.600 per month under this scheme. Around 30 lakh students will be benefited from this scheme for the academic year 2020-2021. To apply for this scheme, candidates’ family annual income should not be crossed one lakh per annum and they must have attained 60% of marks in the previous final examinations.
2. Minorities Post-Matric Scholarship:
Under this Post-Matric Minority Scholarship programme, the students of class 11th to Ph.D. will be awarded up to Rs.800 per month. The candidate’s family annual income should not be crossed by more than two lakhs. And, the students who want to apply for this scheme must have attained a 50% score in the previous final exams. The selected students will get ten thousand rupees per annum along with maintenance charges of up to twelve hundred rupees per month.
3. Professional & Technical Courses of Merit-cum-Means Scholarship scheme:
Students who are pursuing Technical or Professional courses at the Graduate or Post Graduate level will eligible for this Merit-cum-Means scholarship scheme. Under this scheme, contenders’ family income should not cross 2.5 lakh per annum and they have scored at least 50% of marks in the previous academic course. The merit students or selected candidates will be awarded Rs.20000 scholarship amount per year.
Rewards:
The students who are pursuing Class 1st to PG will get financial support from this MOMA Scholarship Program. The selected students will get an admission fee/ Course fee/ Tuition Fee and other maintenance allowances under this scheme. The students will get financial assistance for the entire course duration.
Eligibility Conditions:
Minorities Pre-Matric Scholarship:
- Applicants must be pursuing Class 1 to 10th Standard.
- He/ She should have scored at least 50% marks in the previous academic exams.
- Must be a citizen of India and his/ her family income must be less than one lakh.
Minorities Post-Matric Scholarship:
- Students of class 11th to PG Standard will eligible for this scheme.
- The applicant’s family annum income must be less than 2 lakhs.
- The students of the Minority Community and other categories must be permanent residents of India.
- He/ she must have attained a minimum score of 50% in the previous academic course.
Merit-cum-Means Scholarship scheme:
1. Students who wish to get admissions in Professional & Technical Courses in engineering and other Universities will eligible for this scheme.
2. The Contenders must be a resident of India.
3. The annual income of the student’s family must be less than 2.5 lakhs.

The Application Process:
Students who wish to apply for MOMA Scholarships for the academic year 2020-2021 can use the National Scholarship (NSP) portal. The step-by-step process of the MOMA Scholarship registration process is given below.
1st Step: First, the Fresh students who have not registered in the NSP portal must reach the NSP website i.e. https://scholarships.gov.in/.
2nd Step: And, Click on the New Registration button and view the page on the new tab.
3rd Step: The students are required to fill the NSP registration form with accurate details. The details are listed below.
- Students Full Name
- Date of birth (DD/MM/YYY)
- Mobile Number
- Email ID
- State of Domicile
- Category of the Scholarship
- Bank Account details
- Student Identification Details.
4th Step: After finishing the NSP New user Registration, applicants are requested to go back to the NSP portal Home page and click on login with the Fresh year 2020-2021.
5th Step: Then, students can use the applicant’s I, Password, and log in to the NSP portal.
6th Step: Next, candidates need to select the MOMA Scholarship and select the type of scholarship.
7th Step: Students can fill the complete application form and upload the required documents.
8th Step: Before submitting the MOMA scholarship application form, applicants are required to re-check the details entered on the given form and submit it on or before 31st October 2020.
