Rajasthan Scholarship: Rajasthan government announces every year more than six scholarships for all category students under various schemes. The Welfare Departments as well as the Chief minister scholarships, and the education department invites applicants to provide scholarships. Hence, every year, in notifications one shall get to find information on scholarships that are announced. For every kind of scholarship, the applicants get a stipulated period for applying for it.

The Department of Social Justice and Empowerment provides scholarships under schemes such as Post Matric, Ambedkar Fellowship for SC Candidates, Ambedkar Post Matric, Rajasthan CM Higher Education Scheme, Ambedkar International Scheme for SC candidates, RYVP scholarships, etc. Candidates can refer to the Stipulated Period for the following scheme from the below-given table.

Parameters defining Beneficiary’s Eligibility for Scholarship:
Different schemes allow students to contract Government driven scholarship programs. The Beneficiaries will be awarded scholarships only when they find a place on the eligibility list. Every scheme is targeted to beneficiaries only if they are fulfilling the preset conditions. In a broader sense, the parameters that come to play in defining the eligibility for the scholarship:

Raj state Scholarship Schemes Awards:
Post-Matric Scholarship Scheme:
To apply for this scholarship scheme, the students should pursue their class 11 or class 12 from a recognized institution. The beneficiaries of the scholarship can belong to SC/ ST/ OBC/ SBC/ EBC/ DNT categories. The prerequisite condition to secure a scholarship is, the family annual income and it differs from category to category.
For all reserved candidates such as SC/ ST/ SBC, the Family’s annual income must not exceed more than two lakhs fifty thousand rupees. Likewise, For OBC/EBC, it should be less than or equal to 1,000,00/-, for DNT candidates, it should be less than or equal to 2,00, 000. For candidates pursuing education in National level institutions, annual income must be less than or equal to INR 5,00,000/-
CM Higher Education Scholarship Programme:
This is a state govt launched scholarship scheme for undergraduate students having completed class 12. The Rajasthan government selects the top 1 lakh meritorious students for scholarships. Every scholarship awardee should get a minimum of 60 percent in their Class 12. The family annual income should be less or equal to INR 2,50,000. The selected candidate for the scholarship will have to produce a valid savings bank account of a nationalized bank.
Dr. Ambedkar Post Matric Scheme for EBC Students:
This scholarship program is specially introduced for the EBC category students. To apply for the Dr. Br Ambedkar Post Matric scheme, the EBC category candidates’ annual income must not exceed more than or equal to one lakh rupees. The students who are pursuing Class 11th to Post graduation are eligible for this Programme.
The Students of SBC who are pursuing a distance learning/correspondence program can also apply for this scheme. The Family’s annual income of the SBC Students should be less than or equal to one lakh eight thousand rupees. Rajasthan state govt has extended this scholarship to students pursuing in Class 11th to Post Graduation (PG) Level.
Ambedkar International Scholarship for SC Candidates:
This is the International Scholarship Programme so it does conduct a screening process. In which, the students should have completed Post graduation (PG) from a recognized University with a minimum of fifty-five percent aggregate marks.
The age limit of the candidate is must be less than or equal to thirty-Five years. The family’s annual income should be less than or equal to two lakhs fifty thousand rupees. The Ph.D. program at any university in abroad should be in any of the mentioned streams. They are Public Administration, Economics, Political Science, law, Anthropology.
Rajasthan Yuva Vikas Prerak Internship Program (RYVP):
The RYVP is meant for Graduate candidates in fields of Medical, Law, Agricultural, PG, Under Graduation, Engineering, and MBBS, Dental Degree courses. The prerequisites are an applicant with good knowledge of MS Office, Communication Skills, and presentation skills.
Scholarship Award – Covers Various Expenses Every scheme disburses scholarships to beneficiaries and the award is the sum-up of various expenses. The most common expenses include maintenance allowance study-tour cost, reimbursement of non-refundable fees, study material allowance, etc.
Social Justice & Empowerment (SJE) Portal: Scholarship Application Abiding, objectives of the Social welfare department, Tribal Welfare Department, BC welfare departments, etc., the Rajasthan Government entrusts responsibility.

About the Social Justice and Empowerment Department (SJE):
Every academic year the SJE will run different programs in social empowerment. The programs do include developmental activities for people who belong to various departments such as specially-abled, senior citizens Women, SC, ST, OBC, and EBC. These schemes are exclusive to the Domicile of Rajasthan state.
The SJE portal will help the students to apply for the above-listed scholarship applications. In addition to it, an applicant can track the progress of the file in the application. It records and puts on display, all the transactions. The SJE OPortal service serves as an extension to, make payment of bills concerned with water, electricity, landline, and mobile.
