UTSA Student Login:

1st step: To sign in to the UTSA Blackboard page, the student can go to the UTSA portal.

2nd Step: one must enter the myUTSA ID and passphrase as mentioned in the records when registering for an account and click on the Login.

UTSA Student Login:

Request a Passphrase reset code:

In case, a user (student) forgets the passphrase then reset code alone can enable a student to enter the web portal and gain access to the needful content. Here are the two methods to attain reset code and are mentioned below.

Using Cellphone Number:

1. The user must enter the myUTSA ID and Cell phone number and then click the submit button.

2. The user must confirm the filled-in information and if correct in accordance with the records, then click the submit button.

3. The web portal will send an SMS from [email protected]. So, one must enter the myUTSA ID and reset the code, and hit on the submit Option.

4. The user must enter the reset code from the mailbox within 2 hours.

5. The user must make an entry of the new passphrase twice to confirm it and then click save passphrase.

6. The user must get a confirmation text message that the passphrase has been successfully reset.

Using your Non-UTSA Email Address:

1. The user must enter the UTSA ID and non-UTSA email address and one must confirm the information entered is correct and is in accordance with the records. Then, click the submit button.

2. The user must enter the personal email account and check for the email delivered by [email protected].

3. Note: The user must follow the instructions, the user must click the temporary link and then reset the code. If a delay of more than 2 hours is made then the temporary link gets deactivated.

4. The user must enter the new passphrase twice and then click to save the passphrase.

5. Note: It must be noted that a confirmation email from the portal service will mean the user has reset a passphrase.

My student support program MySSP is a free yet confidential mental health and wellbeing support program for students. It is made available 24/7 throughout the course and counsellors can be contacted according to their convenience.

The university provides well-being services and the student can get in contact with counseling services. My student support program is an important mental health resource at UTSA.

The student is advised to download the Myssp app. The student can seek virtual appointments, call, or chat anytime.

The university comes to urgent and crisis counseling at the recreation wellness center. Other counseling support services are individual counseling, group counseling, emergency situations, and screening services. 

An Individual can seek short-term counseling when they tend to experience anxiety, depression, eating disorders, low self-esteem, self-defeating behavior, coping with HIV or other STDs, or Alcohol /Substance Abuse.

In 1994, the U.S. Department of Education designated UTSA as a not-to-profit, Hispanic Serving Institution, HIS. The U.S. education department funds the UTSA on a condition.
